Sunday School - Beginning September 7th
9:30am - 10:45am
Adult Bible Fellowships (also known as "Sunday School")
•1) Reason for God: How do we share our faith in an age of skepticism? This will be based on the excellent book by Tim Keller. Some of the objections we will be answering will be: "There Can't Be Just One True Religion," "How Could a Good God Allow Suffering," "Christianity is a Straitjacket," "The Church Is Responsible for So Much Injustice," "How Can a Loving God Send People to Hell?" "You Can't Take the Bible Literally." These and more will be discussed to help you be stronger in your walk with the Lord but also be better prepared to answer questions people might have.
Led by: Dave Lybarger & Brian Stuart
Location: TBD
•2) Parenting: So many different ideas and philosophies about parenting! How does one navigate through all the difficulties? The Bible really does give us much insight and wisdom and it is not what you might be hearing. God really does give us all we need for life and godliness and this includes parenting. It doesn't take long to realize that the Bible is not a textbook on parenting. However, there are many principles that can free and empower us in many ways as we work at raising our children the way they should go.
Led by: Tom Burns
Location: TBD
•3) Old Testament Tabernacle: A study of the Old Testament tabernacle from Exodus 25-40. We will explore the three meanings of the Mosiac Tabernacle and how they reveal the glory and wonder of the coming Savior, Jesus Christ. This study is meant to encourage the believer in Christ - giving hope (Romans 15:4)
